Compliance and security requirements don’t mean you have to sacrifice your maps and data viz. We’ve got you covered with on-premise maps for Power BI.
You can now run the Mapbox Visual for Power BI entirely on-premise with Mapbox Atlas, our on-premise map server. The visual’s functionality — including choropleths, drill-down, custom boundaries, data selection tools, and more — is identical to the cloud version.
This solution is perfect for air-gapped environments where requests to external services are prohibited or when you prefer to analyze data in the security of your own environment.
Atlas can be set up quickly and easily using an installer and is compatible with Linux and Mac OS X. Or, if you needed, you can deploy Atlas in a secure cloud environment. Once set up, plug in your Atlas server URL to the Mapbox API URL field under Viz Settings, and you’re ready to go.
To get started, get in touch with your Power BI account rep or get in touch with our team to talk about Atlas.
