We are excited to welcome to Xiaowei Wang to Mapbox! She joins the Map Design and Cartography team, where she will improve our core map offerings, develop custom styles, and build our data processing stack. Xiaowei comes to us from Meedan Labs, where she helped design and build their web and iOS products.
Xiaowei is an avid traveler and makes a lot of community art+tech projects. Her last project took her to Mongolia where she worked with local youth organizations to capture aerial imagery of their neighborhoods and immersive images of their communities for VR headsets.
