A big welcome to Alex Ulsh, who joined Mapbox last week. Alex is on the platform team, where she will concentrate on security by running our security vulnerability reward program, improving our access control and auditing systems, and interfacing with external auditors during routine and focused security audits. Alex’s most recent experience before Mapbox was in securing and administering massive certified intranets for the Department of Defense and Department of State.
Alex is active in the DC tech scene, volunteering as one of the leads for Women Who Code DC’s Front End Hack Night, where she helps local women learn front end web development.
