OSMGeoWeek: Celebrate, learn and map!

Join thousands of mappers across the globe, celebrate geography and make maps during OSMGeoWeek, November 15 - 21! Attend one of the more than 50 global events, or host your own.

Anyone can edit OpenStreetMap, and anyone can teach OpenStreetMap. That’s been the ethos from the very beginning: the only way we can map the entire world is by sharing it with as many people as possible. This year, OSMGeoWeek is being supported by some incredible friends in humanitarian response and development, and in education like National Geographic, the Association of American Geographers, and the American Geographical Society.

Mapbox is joining the fun. Our teams in India and Peru are hosting mapathons. Alex will give a talk at the Stanford GIS Day. And Mikel will be sharing OSMGeoWeek at Geography 2050 in New York City. In DC, many of us will be at the headline OSMGeoWeek event at the Peace Corps.

Head over to the OSMGeoWeek web site and join OSMGeoWeek at a location near you. Whether you get to map or not, celebrate and support the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team by helping fund their incredible work.
