This Monday we will kick off three classes on OpenStreetMap, QGIS and Mapbox tools at the International Institute for Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B).
The program is designed to introduce post-graduate students to open source mapping tools for real world applications. It is part of our larger education engagement with universities like the Indian Institute of Science.
The classes begin on Monday with sessions over the course of two weeks. Make sure to catch me or Arun on any of these days if you’re interested in learning more about Mapbox, our tools, our work in India, or just talk maps.
This workshop is open only to IIIT-B students who are enrolled in the Database and Information Systems program. If you’d like to have us at your school/institution, get in touch.
