Designer Amy Lee Walton joins the team in DC! She brings an experimental art+maker background alongside seasoned web chops ranging from designing interactive experiences, to metrics-based advertising campaigns, to UX-focused landing pages and microsites.

She recently graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a Masters in Fine Art in graphic design. There Amy Lee mixed graphic design fundamentals with physical computing, creative generative coding, and digital fabrication. She’s interested in designing responsive, dynamic, and social methods of making and sharing.

While interning at architecture firm Gensler, Amy Lee designed a community mapping system in TileMill with web, mobile, and print options. At Mapbox she’ll be working with TileMill 2 to design custom maps and push the limits of map design.
