Image Analysist Camilla Mahon joins Mapbox in San Francisco! Camilla is joining as an intern during the summer on our growing satellite team, ramping up our work to support environmental remote sensing analysis, and documenting fully open-sourced raster pipelines.
Camilla is a student of Clark University, where she studies GIS & remote sensing for environmental applications. She has applied her skills to neighborhood development in New Orleans, land use management in New England, and more recently to issues of global climate change. She is interested earth systems science, land stewardship, and community development in a rapidly changing world. She also plays drums and bass. “Drum sticks are cheap. and then you can hit everything you want”.
