In-car navigation just became a lot more user-friendly.
Apple recently announced with the launch of iOS 12 that third-party navigation apps will be able to integrate directly with CarPlay-enabled autos. Previously, CarPlay only supported the use of Apple Maps. This update allows any developer to create a driver-first experience using our Navigation SDKs in the over 35 million CarPlay-enabled automobiles that will be on the road in the next couple years.
