Hundreds of acoustic sensors are monitoring gunfire across DC. The full interactive map visualizing hotspots is now live on The Washington Post. The DC Police Department started using ShotSpotter 8 years to detect gunfire and has extended the live sensor network to cover roughly a third of the District.
