Today, Twitter launched location sharing in Direct Messages, making it easier for businesses to engage with their customers and provide personalized customer service. Now, businesses on Twitter can privately share and request locations from their customers.

This means you can lead customers to your closest open store, enable ordering on the go, or quickly resolve customer complaints by identifying the appropriate store.

On the web, these solutions are all provided on an in-app Mapbox map, enabling seamless conversation with your customer. Twitter’s custom maps leverage Mapbox GL-JS and static overlays.
