We are excited to be a part of DCFemTech’s Tour de Code 2016, a month of women in tech events!
We’re kicking things off with a party in the Mapbox garage on Friday, September 30. Come out to meet women who dig technology, learn about the month-long series of coding training events, and show your support for growing a welcoming, kick ass local tech community. Oh, and there will be snacks, drinks, music, and a few dogs to pet too. Everyone is welcome! RSVP and more details about the kick-off party here.
Also, join us for MiniConf at the Mapbox garage on October 8. We’ll be hosting workshops on a variety of dev skills we apply at Mapbox every day. We’ll also have an open workspace where you can work on a project, collaborate, and hang out. This is a fun, informal way to learn, code and work on projects with other members in the community.
MiniConf is welcome to all who identify as female or non-binary, as well as those who support women and minorities in tech. We’ll have refreshments available! RSVP and more details about MiniConf here.
Hope to see you at some of the awesome events happening throughout October as part of Tour de Code!
