A convergence of three ecosystems at the edge of the Sahara: the desert of Sudan in the northwest, the savanna of South Sudan in the southwest, and the Ethiopian highlands in the east. In the northwest is Lake Taka, source of the Blue Nile. We made great progress last week on Cloudless Atlas in North Africa.
